Friends of the Fitchburg Public Library

Purpose

The Friends of the Fitchburg Public Library (FPL) establish closer relations between the library and the people it serves, promotes support of services, and funds several important services such purchasing books for the library and the fees for the museum passes.

The Friends work with area museums to bring you Museum Passes you can use to visit exhibits for reduced fees.

THE FRIENDS BOOK SALES CURRENTLY POSTPONED

The Book Sale room is currently closed. We do not yet know when sales will resume, please watch here or on our Facebook page for future announcements.

A permanent Book Sale Corner is located near the Main Desk of the library during our open hours with a selection of items for sale.

The BOOK SALE ROOM will be open on THE FIRST AND THIRD SATURDAYS, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The room has been stocked with hundreds of books you haven't seen before. Come on down and support the Friends of the Library. If you are interested in assisting with the book sales--selling books, stocking the shelves, or just keeping things in order--please let Paul Shea know. He has taken on the book sales but could use your help.
