Engineering Division

The City of Fitchburg Department of Public Works Engineering Division offers its services to the residents of Fitchburg, contractors, surveyors, engineers, the general public, and all Fitchburg City Departments. These services include but are not limited to:

• Answering general engineering related questions
• Dam and bridge issues
• Design
• Erosion control issues
• GIS data input/updates/mapping
• Land surveying
• Paving
• Project management
• Record plan updates
• Scanning/filing of record plans
• Sewer/drainage permitting and inspection
• Site plan review
• Street abandonment/acceptance issues
