Fitchburg Youth Library Summer Reading 2022

July 5 - August 12

Ages 0-11.

Complete a provided reading log and turn it in for a book prize and raffle entry!

Logs can be turned in at the Youth Library desk. See below for more details.

For Ages 5-11:

  • Mark off every 10 minutes read on your timed reading log. 
  • Read for a total of 500 minutes  to complete the Summer Reading Challenge. 
  • You may also keep track of your reading through the FREE Beanstack App. Register for an account here.
  • Turn in your completed log to the Youth Library by August 12 for a book prize and get a raffle ticket for one of our grand prizes.
  • Children can submit 3 reading logs and earn up to 3 raffle tickets over the course of the summer.
  • You can pick up a reading log in the Youth Library, or download one here. If this is your first reading log, please stop by the Youth Library desk to register!


For Pre-Readers (ages 0-5):

  • Complete all 15 activities on the reading log and read together for a total of 3 hours.
  • Turn in your completed log to the Youth Library by August 12 for a book prize and get a raffle ticket for one of our grand prizes. 
  • Submit 3 reading logs and earn up to 3 raffle tickets over the course of the summer.
  • You can pick up a Pre-Reader log in the Youth Library, or download one here. If this your first reading log, please stop by the Youth Library desk to register.
